Mime

“Rishte mein to hum tumhare baap lagte hain, naam hai Shehenshah.”

-Shehenshah(Amitabh Bachhan)

Remember this dialogue from the Legend of Bollywood? Makes you wonder if the impact had been the same even if this incredible dialogue was changed. But this is not true. Be prepared to witness “Actions Speak Louder Than Words” come true in the Inter Hostel Mime Competition. Stage with no dialogues and pure acting, with actors having funny and curious facepaints in their faces is just a delight to watch. Each hostel, each actor, fighting to get themselves as close as possible to the likes of the greats like Charlie Chaplin and Rowan Atkinson, present great delightful performances which are not worth a miss.

Street Play

With the incredible participation from freshers and the never ending enthusiasm and hostel spirit of the seniors, this is undoubtedly the biggest cultural event to look out for. The parodies, seemingly impossible formations and the extreme emotions hiding behind a social issue will surely make you question your ethics and that of the society. So put on your kurtas and chunnis and be a part of Ankahi, The Theatre Society of IIT Delhi.

PG Dramatics Production

PG students of IIT Delhi started their activities under the Dramatics Club with their debut performance in 2014, an initiative where for the first time PG students were involved in the activities of BRCA. In the past two years, the group has done six plays and ventured into different genres. With every production, the group has grown in strength due to the efforts it has put in to bring out its best performance. All our performances have been well appreciated and have received much affection from the audience.
